Flos Guns

Flos Guns is a series of designs by Philippe Starck. Any design by Starck guarantees original concepts and durable high quality lighting.

The Guns fixtures provide direct light for reading and at the same time diffused light to illuminate the entire room. Guns is a luxurious fixture, silver- or gold-plated. A dimmer is also included in the Guns.

Philippe Starck proves his commitment with this design. Guns demands attention for the worldwide export of weapons. Gold-plated with 18-carat gold, Guns emphasizes the sad connection between war and money. The black lampshade of the Guns symbolizes death. Or do you prefer the slightly more discreet silver Guns? The inscription in the base of Flos Guns gives one plenty of food for thought: “Happiness is a hot gun”.

Philippe Starck tries to wake us up with the Guns design. He does this with a stylish esthetic design, fit for every house, not only for the headquarters of the Mafia. Flos Guns; Floor or (small) table lamp providing direct reading and ambient lighting. Body is die cast aluminum with an overmolded polymer coating and gloss 18K gold plated or chrome finish. Matte black (or white) plasticized paper shade with an internal gold silkscreened or white with an internal silver silkscreened.
