The design and making
First of all, the Flos Ktribe family is known as a diffused lighting solution. It has been produced for the first time in 2005 and was designed by Philippe Starck. The first fixture of the Ktribe collection of Flos is the Ktribe S suspension. The designer is known for his elegant designs which you notice immediately when you look at the Flos Ktribe. The brilliant and elegant looking diffuser is made from several layers. The outermost layer is made from Black Nylon, followed by the outer diffuser which is made from molded opal polycarbonate and finally the innermost light diffuser is transparent injection molded polycarbonate.
This combination of diffusers gives a soft diffused light. One of the best things about the Flos Ktribe is that most products of this family are CUBO compatible. Being compatible with CUBO technologies gives the Flos Ktribe the ability to change the intensity of light according to your own needs.
Flos Ktribe: Advantage of use
You can easily adjust the dimmer integrated in the cable of the lamp for the light intensity that you want. The best thing about CUBO is that it is offered as a wireless solution and this means that you do not need to have wires connected across the room or any limitation in choosing where to put your lamp.

With Flos Ktribe in combination with the Flos Cubo, you will be able to provide every memberof your house with a special lighting option according to his or her own needs. Thanks to the CUBO compatibility of most of the ktribe products, every member of the house could preset his own favorite lighting intensity through the integrated dimmer. This means that you do not need to set the light intensity every time but, you can preset several lighting modes and then you can choose your favorite one with a single click on the CUBO. CUBO must be ordered seperately.
