Demystifying Wall lights
Wall lights have become part of modern home architecture. The days when rooms in the house used to have one centrally located light fitting, are over. Nowadays, interior decor incorporates wall lighting as a major facet. Wall lights are simply installed flat against the wall in any room or corridor of the house. Your choice of wall lights design and color is strongly influenced by the wallpaper design or the walls’ paint color. They also serve to complement and not to substitute the middle ceiling light. If you think the ceiling light provides too much illumination, you could switch it off and use the wall lights instead.
In most cases, wall lights are bought in a set together with the central ceiling light. Matching this will therefore not be a problem for most people. Since the function of wall lights is not primarily illumination, as that is the work of the central light, LED bulbs can be used here. LED bulbs are milder than other bulbs and are used mostly for their aesthetic value. Unlike other bulbs, they use less energy, in that way we don’t have to pay that much on electricity simply because we want the house to look beautiful.
